        The STAR program is a research-based curriculum for young children with developmental disabilities. STAR stands for Strategies for Teaching based on Autism Research. This comprehensive program uses ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) methods to teach critical skills in the following six areas, receptive language, expressive language, spontaneous language, functional routines, pre-academic and academic skills, and social skills.
